my first Vibrant one I got from a genvibe member, then I wanted the TRD STB and bought that used off someone on matrixowners. The best deal is a slightly used one be that from ebay or genvibe, matrixowners or 9thgencorolla. The prices will differ depending on the style of STB you want. The cheap 50 dollar ones are not solid built, they have threads to tighten them down, ie. vibrants. I wanted the TRD one because its straight and solid built, the DC one looks good too. Neverenoughauto is a good site.OH price, vibrants and the cheap ones go for like 50.DC 80-110 TRD is 110+ (used) new is like up to 200 or something nuts.
I have been thinkign about getting one of these, more for the looks than anything. I like the solid bar look best. I have read from a few posts that some types have clearanc eissues with the ac lines. Has anyone put one on an 05 base vibe that didn't have clearance issues? Would rather not have to modify anythign if possible.
I put a DC Sports bar on my '06. I got it super cheap when I bought my DC Sports header. It fits great and looks excellent, no clearance problems. Neverenoughauto.com is a good place to deal with.http://neverenoughauto.com/ind...=1847
Have a DC on mine. The merits of having one on a Vibe have been discussed in other posts. The main issue is that the strut towers are close to the firewall. Therefore, a strut tower brace is not needed as there is little to no flexing due to the strength of the firewall. Others claim that they have felt a difference with the bar. I personally did not feel a difference with it installed. But it does look cool when I open the hood.
