Here and MO are the only places I can tell someone without it getting out to the public. She wouldn't even know where to find these places, lol.I dont know if i can get the reaction but i will take one after. I plan on doing it Friday after work at dinner at one of our favorite nice restaurants, its right on the water, beautiful and somewhat pricey. But that way we can go see everyone and show them after ya know. Im so psyched to do this!
damn, that is beautiful. i'm pretty sure she'll say yeah. the good thing about engagement rings is if she says no, u can etch some bad words n stuff into her car windows with it congrats in advance man

That's absolutely huge! Talk about feeling manned-up, I just bought a ring for my girl as well - but it's 1.03 carats...round cut, tiffany setting in white gold...Congrats and good luck!

Grats, the anniversary proposal is the way to go... it worked for me. With a rock like that I bet you could take her to Taco Bell and she'd say yes... lol:D
Same to you Engineer twin. They are expensive as H-E double hockey sticks! I probably could even microwave her a hot dog at home and she would say yes, lol. Although I shouldn't laugh cause when we get the house, that's exactly what we will be doing, hahahaha.Ill wander around and see if I have some good ones of us, I'm sure their somewhere where we are either not too drunk or in risque positions, LOL
Nice rock, man. And it shows good manners & respect that you're going to ask her father and grandfather in advance. More folks should do that, IMO.Good luck...and send pics of the two of you.
Nice, and congrats! Where'd you buy the diamond from?Your best bet for comparison and quality purposes is to check out http://www.pricescope.com/Also want to look at that GIA cert and plug in the figures - depth %, table %, etc to determine the true quality of the cut you have there.A very cool program I have yet to try: http://www.pricescope.com/MSU/diamcalc.aspAnd finally, check out: http://www.diamond-cut.com.au/Many diamond experts are members of that site , and they are all very helpful.
Heh, I thought you were going to post something about your car when I saw the subject! Very nice piece of jewlery there man! Hope all goes well with the proposal!

very exciting! and it's not the size of the diamond that trully matters, but what's behind it. hell, phil NEVER bought me a diamond or even a ring. i had a ring that i liked already (white gold of course) and i'm not into the whole big diamond thing either. the ring is beautiful! and i love princess cut and white gold!
