Does any one here have 20's on there ride or have pic's of a Vibe on 20's. How would it handle as for the turning radius? I cant remember where I seen a web were you can picure your car with deff. wheel's and it show's that one can bolt up 20's but did not mention it with a drop. I now there's an MOer with 20's and it looks good. Any pro's and con's about this....nuvibe

Right now I can drive with my car slammed and have 0 problems (maybe - full u-turns, and that just rubs the fender liners) with 19's. I don't think 20's would be a problem, but your tires are going to be mighty thin and your ride is going to suffer A LOT. Personally I like the look of bigger wheels, but for ride quality I wouldn't go more than 18's. As for those sites for viewing wheels on your ride, to me those may give an idea as to the look, but I don't feel they give an accurate representation and are somewhat off as far as scaling goes.

Damronjr is the best one to answer that question. But my 18's rub at full turning against the fender liners.I have 18/40/225's.But I really like the bronze rims on your ride now, they are sweet.

Jason and Kevera, Thank's for the reply's, my issue I HATE WHEEL GAP!sorry did not mean to yell. It just bug's the hell out of me to have that wheel gap and for me to buy 19's and the tire's are so dang expensive and 20's one has to worry about the ride quality and pot holles. Plus I dont wont to change out my springs ether,I like the ride of my s-tech's. Sorry just trying to see my opptions and understand were I'm coming from....nuvibe

Sorry just trying to see my opptions and understand were I'm coming from....nuvibeI hear ya there! 19's are definitely sucking when it comes to tires, prices are surely higher because they are an "off" size. I paid $900 for the cheapest tires I could get at Discount Tire the last time I got new tires there. Sure, that included the Road Hazard Warranty, but that's high! Even with 19's and a drop like yours the ride is going to be a lot rougher. Mine was bad with the Hotchkis springs and 19's before. I would say stick with 18's, you can keep fatter tires and still get rid of a lot of the gap, yet still keep a decent ride quality. If you're not worried about that, then 20's are probably a better bet than 19's because of tire costs. Your call, keep us posted!

13vibe03, No problem, just your opinion rite. Just concidering ways to fill the wheel gap. I cant afford to spend on go fast mods, reason I have a lead foot and I allready have two speeding tickets...nuvibe
Thank's jason, I seen some wheel's like my bronze 17's but in 18's in black for $300 but no tires. I need to price out the tire's and see if it's worth buying or even try Joe's wheel's and see what I'll come up with....nuvibe

I'm a pretty melow guy(thank's for not comparing). I would never spend $1500 + on 20's when you can get them for less on craigslist, with tires and to modify a Vibe motor is to much dinero for little HP....nuvibe
I think I'm going to check out the Auto Trader for some wheel pkg just to seen the going rate. Plus I'm going to call up my buddy at Disscount Tire to see what he can do for me on the 18" tires....nuvibe

Oh, and get ready to use premium gas and get lower mpg!

My case in point (engine mod's) I'll stick to the look's for my ride. I was looking at Sherwin's Matrix in MO's and going to see about doing what he did for the wheel combo of off set the rear for bigger and smaller in front and see what that would look like. What do think?....nuvibe

I think I'm just trying find my way around to filling that wheel gap issue and that would be one way of doing it. I see your point on the tire rotation but I can live with that than paying $900+ on a full set for one size tire....nuvibe
Why don't you get a set of coilovers. That will kill the wheel gap and you get to keep your sweet rims. That way you can slam it to the ground.Maybe a set will pop up for sale here or on MO for a good price. Can't you here me chanting"keep your rims","keep your rims".lol

Quote, originally posted by nuvibe »Ok, What's the average going price for a set of coil over's and also what's the ride quality compared to the S-Tech's spring's?..... nuvibeThey can be pricey for a set of Teins or TRD's. I think the Groound Control or whatever they are are cheap b/c they use the stock struts or something, but good ones replace everything and run about $1500.

I'm trying to have my cake and eat it, you know.LOL. I was just on MOer's and checking out the Ksport coilovers set up and just thinking of that set up and maybe check to see about later if someone selling a set of coilovers, ?.....nuvibe
i found these coilovers on ebay for CHEAP. it says they're for vibes/trixes up to 04, but i messaged the seller about 05-06 models too. i'll tell u what they sayhttp://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...98869

If I'm not mistaken I have a set of those springs sitting in my garage and I have been thinking about them but I herd nothing but negative things about that brand of springs. Thanks for the info....nuvibe
Those Skunk 2'z aren't "true" coilovers, as they are just coils with adjustment sleves.that is why Quote »Skunk2's are like rubber bands, bouncy bouncy They aren't designed for any SHOCK in mind, so they are designed for just the weight of the car, and you get to hope you have a set of shocks/struts that can deal with them.... 99% of the time you don't and you end up looking like you have NO shocks going down the road... It is a dangerous compromise...
My buddie ran the skunk 2s on his eclipse gst, In the front he had to have the driversside dropped all the way and passanger side at max height to stay level. I have never heard anything good about them eitheir.Aron
Vibe is gone and will be missed as I've gone country style

The fronts carry more weight, so if they were on a side.... well you get the idea... lol
