Reverse beep

Post by lilrkt »

I could not find this in a search. Forgive me if it's already been asked. How do you disable the reverse beeper? I have had my Vibe for 2 days and it is already driving me nuts. I have considered many ways from unplugging the speaker to disconnecting the wire from the switch that makes it work in the first place. I just wanted to know if anyone has done this and if so how.

Found a few here for you. Hope this helps. In my opinion, you get used to it after a while. I really don't even hear it anymore.http://forums.genvibe.com/zerothread?id ... ad?id=1267

I don't even hear it anymore. when others ride in my car, They mention it and I am like "oh yeah".ACtually, when I was first getting used to the "R" placement, I did shift into it on accident a few times and the "beep" saved me.
