Exhaust tip

Post by Susky »

I just got my Vibe, and it has the monotone package. I just realized that it appears to also have the (dealer installed) exhaust tip, but it wasn't listed anywhere in my documentation, and I know I didn't specifically pay for it. Is that part of the monotone package, or should I just shut up and be happy that I got a little goodie for nothing?

Nope...not on the window sticker. This vehicle was a dealer trade, and I suspect the place my guy traded for it had done a little too much undocumented customization. As my son would say..."Sucks to be them!" LOL!

I found an extra exhaust tip in the back seat when I took deliver of my car - still in the original box. I thought (very briefly) about taking it back to the dealer, but the odds of them shipping it 120 miles back to the dealer they traded with for my Vibe were about zero. So, I promptly sold it at a great deal to another gen-viber!

quote:I just took a look at the pic of your Vibe you took.It does look like you have the exhaust tip. That shiny end it just the stock tailpipe. The exhaust tip is slotted and has a rolled edge of metal.Ah, that clears it up - thanks! Since it was larger in diameter and a little shiny, I mistook if for the added tip. Sorry about that!It looks pretty good, anyway, though.
