inside the cabin you smell it?Ive noticed it outside the car sometimes. If its strong or a regular occurance it maybe some tube/hose leaking. But it will start rich in cooler mornings.
I have never smelled gasoline n my Vibe (unless I was sloppy at a fillup or ortherwise tracked some in) I have had vehicles that did occaisionally do that and it made me nervous when it happened. I am noto sure that just burning rich would give you a gas smell, maybe it would, but I'd say be sure you don't have a leak somewhere too.and I pass this place everyday, had to take a pic of it today after seeing this thread title.
Sorry, it doesn't smell like gasoline, but just like an engine that's way too rich, a very thick heavy exhaust smell. Inside the cabin it's just a slight odour, outside it's unreal. It goes away once the engine warms a bit. I don't know if this is a function of the catalytic converter or not. That picture is hilarious!
