Trying to cut down on the amount of oil build up I'm getting from having the engine breather hoses connected to my throttle body. Tried shopping online for one. For what they do, those are way too expensive. So I decided to make my own. First problem was finding an air line filter for airless spray painting. I tried 4 different hardware and shop stores. Tried walmart and a big tool store we have here. Home Depot finally had what I wanted, mostly. They were out of the reducers I needed. So a very helpful employee said I could find more of those in the plumbing section.Couldn't find the hose I needed and after driving around town all day I got fed up and just went to Autozone for that and also picked up a little engine breather filter.Total cost was about $40. Right now it's put together and working great. I just need to make something to mount it better to the strut tower. Only took half an hour - 45 min. The little filter looks pretty cool where I put it! I capped off where the big 5/8" breather hose went into the throttle body. And if you rev the engine a little, you can see the air from the engine cover flowing into the oil catch can (air filter). Here's the whole picture.
