I have a 2003 Vibe GT and I am having some issues with it. Checking to see if anyone knows about these problems. Well, when braking the steering wheel shakes a little. Its did it for a while now and I have new tires, had them rotated and had the rotors resurfaced a couple months ago. That helped but its still doing it more then it should. Its just not a smooth brake.Another problem I am having is when I slow down or brake I hear a noise that sounds like a cranking sound in the front end. Its not just related to breaking because it makes the sound when I am turning and coasting. Does anyone have any ideas for me? I did take it in a while ago about the noise but they could find the noise so it was like I was hearing things but now its getting worse. Thanks,Boldizar

But the front end noise might be a bad wheel bearing. You can tell a wheel bearing going bad when making a turn. It sounds more like a Hummmmmm. The left wheel bearing is bad when you turn to the right and the right wheel bearing is bad when you hear the hum turning left. The other possibility is a bad CV Joints. Bad CV joints tend to make the sound you were describing. First check the rubber booties on all your CV joints to see if they are intact.

Hey Boldizar,Have a quick suggestion about the wobble, check your lug's torque! It was talked about a week or so ago. Make sure they're all set to 76 ft lbs, no more... Might help, might not, but it's worth checking.Dave
