Hi all,I want to replace the wiper blades on my '06 Vibe, but I'm a little confused regarding the required sizes of the replacement blades. At Canadian Tire, they're listed as being 21" (driver's side) and 18" (passenger's side). Yet, some searching on various websites say that they should be 20" (driver's side) and 18" (passenger's side).Which is correct ??thanks !/fartsack

where can i buy a rear blade? mine is completely falling apart and i can't find anywhere (other than the dealer which is ridiculously expensive) that sells one small enough
2003 Vibe Base- Silver Two-Tone, Injen CAI, Sony X-Plod Head Unit, 16" Voxx MG Rims, Tein S-Tech Lowering Springs, Painted Rear Brakes, OEM Exhaust Tip, Custom Rear Seat Back Covers MiVibe-ToolGuy's Fog Lamp Protectors, 111K Miles!
Either buy a replacement one like the one found herehttp://forums.genvibe.com/zerothread?id=8034The rear blade is 11inches so unless you can find one thats 11 inches in stores that seems like the only place other than a dealership.ORYou can buy a blade refill/replacement from a different size and cut it to size and replace it that way with the old one.

Ok .. I picked up my 21" & 18" Reflex wiper blades from Canadian Tire yesterday, and *tried* to install them last night. Unfortunately, I haven't got a clue how to install them. I've never had a problem installing wiper blades before, and don't have a problem removing/reinstalling the stock wiper blades. Can someone please shed some light on this ? Pictures would probably help.thanks !/fartsack
They are hard to install the first time.Did you get the old ones off.NorthVibe just remember to remove the plastic blade cover,I forgot to when I installed mine,I'm such an idiot,I took them off again and was going to bring them back till I realized there was a cover over them.

Yeah, I've managed to get the stock wiper blades off without any problems. There's a plastic blade cover ? Where ? Obviously I've missed something.thanks !/fartsack
The pics aren't great seeing I'm cooking dinner and waiting to watch my Man U game in 5 minutes so bear with me.They slide on from the bottom,I'm not sure what attachment I used but It gives you an idea.

This is bollocks ! Unfortunately, my pea-sized brain does not compute. I still can't get these Reflex wiper blades installed. Is it possible that there are multiple "types" of Reflex wiper blades ? I've concluded that the bracket on the wiper blade is not supposed to be removed. The wiper blade doesn't have a notch that would fit inside the slot of the hook, even if I were able to get it on properly. Here's some pics .. thanks !/fartsack
It's hard to tell from the picture.Does that bar on the wiper pop out. Then you will have to install one of those attachments on the wiper arm to see which one you need. Some attachments do not go around the hook, they just latch on the flat part. But,the first thing to determine is which attachment to use.Try just the attachments first,to see which one fits.

Nope, the bar doesn't pop out. I've only got 1 attachment, I just posted multiple pictures of the same part. Now that it's the weekend, I should have more time to "play" with it and get the $^#&@ thing installed.
fartsack - I FEEL YOUR PAIN!Just bought a set of these and tried to install them on my Sunfire (probably the same sized arm). THEY DO NOT FIT. I tried and cursed and tried and cursed them some more - nada. It seems the "U" in the arm is "supposed" to snap in behind those two little plastic bumps in the end...problem is that the metal in the "U" bend seems too chunky to pass through the 2 bumps. I damn near ripped the arms off thying to get these f*&*^$n things on...and then to add insult to injury, it started to rain....I'm bringing mine back - I can buy 4 cheap easily installed sets for the 60 bux I shelled out on these (to hell with the mail-in rebate to get one free).
Oh yeah - by the way - I think kevera posted pics of the 1st gen mount as the one I have is a one-peice plastic job identical to fartsack's pics - it does not disassemble

if you replace the driver blade with a 22" one, you even get rid of that 'drip in the V' that the 21" blade creates sylvain
Salsa 2-tone Basecargo nets, liner and seatback storageThe best thing about having my previous car totaled in an accident is that i got a Vibe to replace it
Yeah so I returned the CT ones and went to Walmart & got Rain-X Latitude ones - same principle: frameless arc. A fair bit cheaper, also made in Korea, but the difference in installing them was like night and day! Rain-X=slide and click (it took me 5 seconds in the parking lot); Those Reflex CT ones=impossible to get on - I spent all morning trying. Reflex mounting design
