Will Factory Amp work or do i need to toss it

I am looking at getting either infinity or jbl speakers to replace my factory speakers. I already know that they must be 2 ohms and 6.5. My question is will the factory amp power the new speakers with no problem or do I need to look at getting a new amp. Also if I get a new amp, can i just switch it with the factory one.

u can run the factory amp with no problem i am and it sounds great!!
