Another ViewThis pix taken after I first bought it used. Three years old, one owner with 36,400 miles. It came with almost every option and even the color I wanted. When looking the salesman showed me all he had of this type vehicle, an xB, Spectra5, Focus, PT Cruiser. I asked "do you have anything else?" He took me to the side of the building toward the back, and there was my Vibe sandwiched between two big SUVs. It was almost like they were hiding it. Boy am I glad I asked!

Interior ViewNothing special here, just the stock interior in I believe Charcoal color; the darker one. I'm small and everything fits me perfectly. Easy to reach all the controls and storage compartments (I counted 12). And the height adjustable drivers seat is great; I have it all the way up .

Rear Deck CarpetThis was my first mod, if you can call it that. I read about another GV member getting this gray carpet with rubber backing at Wally World. So, I checked it out and sure enough it fits perfectly. It really helps to keep things from sliding around on the hard surface. Note the rolled up portion behind the seat...

Rear Seats Folded Down...When rolled out, with the rear seats down, the carpet is just the right length to cover the whole deck. The great thing about this option is that it can easily be removed if you want to use the built-in tie down system. And, we're talking a very inexpensive addition.

Chrome License FrameMy second appearance mod was this simple chrome frame for the tag. Got rid of the dealer ad one ASAP. It has a clear plexi cover which I'm told is helpful in certain situations . I'm considering getting the Pontiac overlay in something reflective, but not sure of what color.

Fog Light ProtectorsI wanted the fogs to be yellow, as I believe they work better that way. While visiting GV I saw that member ToolGuy was making these protectors in color. I jumped on it and he made them up quickly. I thought it wise to get them before I was visited by the rock-magnet.

Red Overlay ArrowHad to cover that dreadful pink Pontiac Arrow on the rear hatch. While GrafxWerks makes a dandy one, I couldn't see paying that price plus shipping for one item. So, I purchased some red reflective auto tape and did it myself. Not too bad, I think. Also, removed the dealer's name logo badge. Later I may get some other decals; engine cover, perhaps the VVTi, and of course the GV.

Side Close-upWell, I hope you like my ride. So far I'm enjoying it immensely; it's fun to drive! I'm especially pleased with the MPGs I'm getting: 30 city/suburb and 40 highway trip. Those numbers may change as I begin using the AC more and being less careful in my driving style.I pretty much like it they way it is, so I don't plan on too many mods. Any will likely be for looks and maintenance; keeping it fit-n-trim. I'm too old and too poor to get carried away with mods. I need this car to last me a long, long time.I've already switched to Mobil-1 Full Synthetic with my first oil change. Someone suggested a K&N Air Filter would be an easy and good thing which I'm considering. Will also upgrade the tires when they need replacing. So far they seem to have lots of rubber left. The Dunlop GT Qualifier P205-55-R16 will be replaced with Kumho Solus KH16, I think. I'm more into comfort than performance, but these will be an upgrade in both areas.

OEM Exhaust TipAdded the factory option fat exhuast tip which I think looks sweet! Just another appearance mod that adds a touch of class. Thanks to ZubenElGenubi and O2cSnow for pointing me to a half-price source.

Keyhole Covers The latest addition to appearance mods are these color matched keyhole covers from KeyTechniques. They provide a nice clean look.
