Stay safe. You'll be in our prayers, with all the other troops.

Take care of yourself, and thanks for serving. My sister in-law might be going to Iraq this summer (some units from her base were told they were going, but her unit hasn't heard yes or no yet) Two of my college roommates ran supply convoys from Kuwait to Bagdad a couple of years ago.PS, I'm assuming OEF Is "Operation Enduring Freedom"?

Good luck man. I got seom friends who were contractors over there for it, and they said it will be something you will never forget over there. Good luck and have fun, no matter where you are.

I am missing one bag, and its really hot. just an interesting fact you all might like to know about africa... it's always hot. My mom and Dad are currently road tripping from DC to Kansas City MO with my car to take care of it while i'm gone. and yes for those of you who were wondering OEF=Operation Enduring Freedom... Can you tell us what you are doing over there. I know the military doesn't like personnel to be too specific, especially during deployments.

I hope you have a low risk deployment, and I admire your discretion in not being specific about what your unit is up to. It's pretty cool that you have wireless and a laptop. Do you have any kind of video chat you can use to stay in touch with the family? If something comes up that you need some stateside help with while you are over there, let us know.
