hose leading from airbox to fender..........

Post by vibe04 »

Has anyone taken off the hose that runs from the airbox to the front fender, or modified it in anyway? I have an AFE S/R with a heat shield and was wondering if this may bring in more or less air.

yes there are some members here that modified theres. blue crush used a cai pipe instead or something along those lines. someone else routed a tube from next to the fog light to that spot. Doing so is supposed to get cold air more efficiently to your air box or sr.

I have a short ram and I just took that piece out. I don't think that by having that there or having a piece of pipe there will make any real difference.

I think djb383 used a ram air type setup that I think would work well with a short ram.http://forums.genvibe.com/zerothread?id=19467
