My wife and I have decided that our first born (due August 27th) will be named Legion Alexander if it's a boy, and Tiana Madine if it's a girl.

I have looked it up on several baby name websites and have yet to find it listed anywhere. It is definately origional and he would never be confused for someone else.

I would call him by Legion, Other people who would possibly have a problem with it would more than likely call him Alex. Who knows? He may even be refered to as Lee. What is your idea?

haha my idea is write down all the possibilities and tape them to a dart board and then... j/kI really like the originality of Legion. I don't see why anyone would have a problem calling another person by that name. The more I think about it the more I like it (maybe I'm weird, too haha). He wouldn't have to think hard to have a neat screen-name Alex is my first thought of a nick-name.... Lee didn't even cross my mind until you mentioned it, or you could get a little strange (not really) with the nick-name and call him Zander
You guys/gals are funny. The reason I see people having a problem with it is because of it's religious background. Legion is the name of the Demon that christ cast out of a man and into a group of pigs. When Jesus asked the demon his name he replied "My name is Legion, for we are many." I forget the exact passage in the bible but that basically covers it. My wife and I are Athiest if anything, so we don't have a problem with it.Our families (Highly Religious) on the otherhand will probably give us hell for it and dis-own us, But that wont be such a bad thing Ohh, I don't remember what name I have in my profile but the last name is not Xavier...It's Evans. So it would be L.A.-E not L.A.-X

Just don't name him Lucifer or something ok? hahaSo I guess I'm saying don't worry about it... but I don't think you are... so don't
Congrats I really like the names you chose.I'm starting in October,so we have a spring/summer baby.I am really nervous about having a little one, that's why I'm modding the vibe now.

haha ok So I kinda set myself up for that moving on... after reading that wiki article on "Legion" I kinda agree with joat. BUT, what you and I beleive is different... Think about this, how would your son feel when he gets older and learns what the meaning (the demon being the dominant definition of the word as a namesake) of his name? If he believes like you two then he probly won't worry too much but if he grows up believing different... just a thought again, I wish you guys the best with your son/daughter having kids really changes your outlook on life... consider yourself warned lol
hey congrats on the lil one to come.
