luggage racks?

Post by Farva Jihad »

they are ungodly ugly and I want to lose them, I would poke around above the carpet lining in the ceiling but I thought I'd ask before i go and mess up my interior. Is there any quick way to get them off? I'm expecting some bad paint under there thats not a big deal but I'm wondering if there will be large holes from the bolts holding them down. anyone done this before? advice would help me out alot.

You can get the crossbars off pretty easily. Search around on here. You'll find it.As for the side pieces, you're gonna have to order some of the roof caps. RKSport makes a nice fitting set. They're gonna be my next mod.

If you have the cross bars, you should have no problem selling them here.

I never realized how good Vibe's look with no roof rack at all. Are there only a few screw holes on each side from the roof rack? How easy was the uninstall?
