Only had my monotone Satellite Vibe for a couple of weeks and already have a rock chip on the front of the car down to the black color of the urethane, or whatever the front bumper is made of. Has anyone used any of the clear protective film on the front of their Vibe, as sold at http://www.chipguard.com ?
Yeah, I've got buddies that have used those 3m film guards, and they tend to chip too. They can take small debris, but toss a rock at it like the road sometimes does, and the film gets a tear. Nasty looking film with chunks missing is hard as heck to take off cause it wont come off in one piece. Overall, they work ok for small stuff, but the removal alone is annoying enough for me not to use em.

I still have numerous paint chips and dents on the front of the truck. It is also impossible to remove. I'm probably going to have to grind it off. In theory, this product looks and sounds great, but it is not the solution.
