Black or Red?

Post by Whelan »

Since my AWD is front disc rear drum, I am going to clean up my calipers and drum soon and paint them. I think red drums would be kinda weird looking so I was thinking just doing them all in a gloss black since the car is black, it will be clean looking. Especially when I get those front powerslot rotors. MMM nothing like polished cadmium to make it shineOpinions?

The red may stand out a bit too much for the drums since there's so much there that would be red. If they were calipers, the red would probably be ok.So, absolutely, go for the black! Make it glossy like the rest of the car.

that's what I figured. If i had all disc I would think seriously of the red. But the gloss black paint they sell for calipers and the drum will def. clean it up, this is what I am looking at now. Blech!!
