I am not usually a cheap a$$ but I do not feel up for spending over $100 for an Injen or AEM. I want a short air where the filter sits pretty much where the stock box is now and saw this. Looks very cheap for the price, does anyone have one? Comments?
there are too many to list, but here is one of them. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...wItemThey say it comes with the MAF setup so you can hook it on, seems like the right shape, and most of these people only have 3 or 4 bad comments out of like 400+ Shipping brings it to basically around $35 no matter which one you get, but I would just assume get this, maybe upgrade the clamps and filter.
As far as intakes go, especially short ones, They are just a tube that is free flowing and accepts your maf sensor and a hose or two. the only thing that bothers me is the little kink in the blue hose.
I had an ebay 2 piece cai for about a year. It was $55 shipped to me.It was made of thinner aluminum than the brand name intakes but it did come with a K&N cone filter. It worked as good as the brand name intakes, but it was louder due to the thinner wall tubing. Great if you are on a budget. One step up from the ebay intakes are the Cosmo Racing intakes. I had a Cosmo short Ram as my first Vibe intake. If I were to ever put another aftermarket intake on my Vibe it would be a Cosmo CAI. But I am liking my quieter car now so that probably won't happen.
