Hmmm...I could (if inclined) get an '06 GT for ~$15K at Dave Smith motors in Kellogg, ID. They have one every week advertised for around that price, give or take $500. The $1K "Conquest" rebate applies, but nothing else out of the ordinary (ie, military rebate, farm bureau rebate, etc.). Dealer discount must be around $4K...don't know how they make money, other than by volume. Dave Smith Motors...in a hick town, in a hick state...is the largest Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep dealer in the world. I just read recently that they sold 900 units in December alone.Next time they run an ad with this special, I'll scan it for ya'.

If the conquest rebate is $1,000, that would mean the Chesrown dealer discount is only $583. Pretty lame discount (3.39%) on a $17,215 msrp.I am not in the market - just posted infor for those who might be. Information is "king" when dealing for an automobile.
