My wife and I are expecting our first child. According to the Doctor he/she will be born sometime around August 15th. My wife is around 8 weeks along and we are both excited. Last time we lost our hope due to a miscarrage, so we are also a bit scared. This will be our first child and we are both hoping for a boy.

woohoo!! hope everything goes well. watch out for those cravings tho. i developed a healthy craving for hot stuff while i was pg. normally i can't stand anything past medium but at 16 wks along i was practically drowning my chicken tacos from taco bell in fire sauce and loving it. once i had my kid i couldn't stomach the fire sauce to save my life.that, and my favorite preggo pizza: pineapple and banana peppers. aww yeah...

Congrats, hope all goes well. I know the feeling, our first ended with a miscarriage, a lot more common than we ever knew. But we ended up with 4 kids!

Thanks guys & gals! I can't wait until the little guy arrives. My wife and I have wanted a baby since we first got together in '04. I am anticipating building our nursery already. heck i even signed us up for a Babies R Us regestry. I have only listed a few things there so far though. If anyone wants to check it out just look us up on their website and search for either Annie Evans or Wesley Evans.I already drove to my wifes work just to bring her a Blueberry Bagel with cream cheese. It seemed silly to make a 6 mi round trip just for a bagle but I am sure there will be worse things down the road Now, for the first mod... I need to find a genvibe.com body suite or baby T. That would be cool!

congratulations man, i agree on the mods. also make sure your wife spends her free time at firebird raceway and PIR while she's pregnant, so you can have your own lil version ricky bobby. and what are you thinkin, why would you wanna waste your hard earned $$ on a baby t or suit that he's just gonna outgrow in like 3 days?? when you can get him a genvibe tattoo that'll be with him for life. now if that's not an excellent gift, i don't know what is.
