HELP!!! Anyone who knows about electrical wiring/audio/has ever integrated an ipod with thier stereo

I've been trying to get this figured out for the past 12 hours with no luck. I can't seem to get it figured out from the pics and instructions. I have never wired an ipod into the factory stereo but have for a single disc pioneer stereo. I used a modulator that was wired in directly. I would just recommend buying an fm transmitter for $30-50 bucks and plug it into your cigarette light no more problems.
