Just seeing who out there has a "significant other" that loves the Vibe, owns a vibe, or just over all is willing to listen to you rant about your Vibe?This topic came to mind, cause in a week I will be joining the married group, and I know my "other half" loves my Vibe. She does get a little irritaded sometimes when I talk about all the things I want to do to it, and all the things I can't afford. But we both like it.I know a few of you have met on here, and a few of you just have vibes for both people in the relationship, but I just wanted to know how the vibe has (if in any way) effected your relationship....

Congrats on the marriage thing As for your question... I was married for ~2 years prior to the Vibe so I don't really think it's affected our relationship in that aspect but my wife does enjoy our Vibe and will occasionally listen to (& talk about) different stuff like mods and such. I really enjoy talking to her and finding our what she thinks is neat but most of the time she isn't nearly as enthusiastic as I am about it Be sure and get some pics of the Vibe if it gets "vandalized" at your wedding. (If it was me I'd make sure to drive something else that day )

I am trying to get my "father in law" to let me use his BMW Z4, but for the Vandalize reason, he is not really wanting too, but I will try. No matter what there will be pics of our wedding up here somewhere. Thanks for the congrats.

ive been married for three years and my wife and i began looking for a new car after our old lumina was run over by a beer truck... anyway when looking i was trying to find a car with good room decent fuel milage and good looks. i started looking at used nissan maximas and olds aurora's but when my wife saw a vibe she loved it and we test drove one and both liked it instantly. i was a little sceptical beacue we were coming from a v6 to the little 1.8 but after driving it it felt plenty peppy enough( nowhere nere as fun as my truck but its my baby)... first i promised my wife i would keep it stock maybe just some wheels and tires... then i had to take the flowmaster off the lumina when we gave it to her father.. and things went from there now im ordering something about every week or two lol but she doesnt care as long as i dont go too crazy with it...

I still remember the look on my wifes' face when I showed her the Vibe. She really loved it (and still does) I asked her if she was ok with us buying it and voila! 3 years later we are still enjoying it.My wife has even attended some of our meets here in Montreal and a couple of the Toronto meets .PS She really loves how the car seat fits and looks in the Vibe compared to my Cavy

My girlfriend was shocked when I picked her up for our first date. She said she never pictured me for a 'Wagon' guy - thought I was way cooler.I told her it doesn't get any cooler but she never believes me. It has become a great joke and it actually helped because her father instantly took to me because I was a "Pontiac" guy. He had in fact been looking at the Vibe, but his wife made him get a Prius...

My boyfriend used to sort of roll his eyes when I spent so much time on gvc, or talking about my Vibe. But he's pretty in to it too now, and honestly, all the stuff that's been done to it, HE'S gotten for me--he tinted my windows for my birthday, got me the iPod2Car so I could listen to my iPod...and he has "installed" all of my Grafxwerks for me, etc. He went with me to the Meet in August and had just as much fun as I did. Now he wants to put a sub in the back for me to show the "custom" work he can do...so I'd say he likes my car just as much as I do! Once in a while I even let him drive it!

I met my fiance on this very site, because we bought nearly identical Vibes -- the only thing different was he had alloys and I don't. Although he no longer has his Vibe, he is still a valued member of this site. I don't really talk much about my car I don't think, but if I did he would probably listen.

I met my wife on this site. We both owned Vibes at the time. Now she owns a subaru Legacy GT and next summer I'll be trading/selling my vibe for a Subaru Impreza STi.But we still both love my lil Vibe.

it will be a sad sad day for me when we sell/trade Mav's vibe in. granted, it will be joyeous for him to get his "dream" car (sorta) but still sad because the vibe holds so much meaning to the both of us. i was sad to see mine go and miss it when i see it around town. if we could afford it, i'd love to keep it, but having 3 car payments is just a little too much for us right now.in fact, we're supposed to be packing since we're moving into our NEW HOUSE this weekend! hooray, we just closed on it today! all in all, the vibe will always be loved and missed. because of it, we'd never have met (online) and of course gotten married. in my dreams, i want to do an entire STI tranny swap on his vibe, but i don't think it'd run well... LOL. or all fit inside the engine bay, but you never know.

The Vibe is such a great car, bringing all of us together like a big happy family, lol.Congrats on the house. Me and my Fiance just got one too. We close on it this week, and move in next week. It's exciting.My Fiance is the one who talked me into getting my Vibe. Even though she now has her Lancer, and is happy with that, we still drive the Vibe whenever we go out together somewhere.
