I just bought a 2003 Vibe with a 6 disc changer. I cannot get the green light to come on so that I may load the unit. I have read the owner's manual and not had any luck. I do plan to change out this unit at some point, but I would like to make it thru Christmas before spending any additional money. Does anyone have any suggestions? Anyone know of a place to send it off to for repair? Thanks

there is a red light that turns green to load on mine too.if you are swapping it in a bit anyway, you dont want it fixed... it could be big $$$. a.k.a. buy an aftermarket deck now and save the money repairing the OEM.just ipod or radio it for the rest of the month. It is really not worth the money to repair the factory deck IMHO

I thought that I may just wait and go with a new H/U. I really want a double DIN unit and would like to have the red backlighting. Thus far, I have had a difficult time finding on that meets the criteria. So far, this is the closest thing I can find:http://www.kenwoodusa.com/prod...=2376
