One question, do your lights dim when the bass hits? I have a Fosgate p325.1 mono amp with 2 10's and a 500k cap, just replaced my battery and my lights dim at cruising speeds when the bass hits...

For instance, I have a 1.2 farad cap on my 300w sub amp and it cleared up the dimming problem.

More than likely you need to get a 1f, that's all I have for my 500W PG amp and 10JLW7. No dimming here.

I guess it is a .5 farad cap. It came in a Scosche wiring kit from WalMart for $70. I guess I had better save up and get a bigger cap. I really do not want to shell out the big bucks for that alternator--aren't they like $250 +?

I have that as well, but I also have bags and stuff that run off my system as well.

Lucky guy you are. Wait, I see a weiner dog! I've got one of those. Loves to ride around in the Vibe. Almost too long for the seats though haha!Very nice subs by the way. how much power do they use, I see your amp is 580w. That Fort Minor CD must sound pretty good on those, huh?
