The EDR Event Data Resources

Just saw a special on this EDR. Just like the black box in an airplane , just in your car. They have been out for a while but people just now finding out about them. Thousht you all would want to see the list. Luckily the Vibe is not on the list. List is attached in adobe reader.http://www.harristechnical.com...t.pdf

Forgot to mention they dont record any sounds, Just keep track of speeds, bracking, acceleration, swerving, seatbelt usage, etc. Mainly everything u do while driving.

Yep it has been in the news too. One of my cars has it. Will make people think twice about doing anything stupid in their rides.

I saw a news show that mentioned it--it was the first time I had even heard about them. The show said cars built after a certain year had them. So I checked the Owners Manual, and it's listed in there.
