I got a spoof paypal email the other day that sends you to a site that looks exactly like the real paypal site! I almost fell for it, but realized it had to be fake. Sent it to paypal and sure enough it was fake! You gotta be real careful now!

I've gotten those as well. I never ever click on links from anything like that, not my bank, not Paypal. Nothing that involves anything with my accounts. If my bank or anyone important needs something that is important they can phone me.

Yeah, pretty much any email asking you to login and giving you a link to do so will probably be a phishing attempt. If you get an email from somewhere, go to their NORMAL website and login the way you usually do. Then you can see if the same notice shows up through the normal sign-in method.

I got an email that was made to look like it was from eBay, asking me for my password, and to make a new password for both my eBay and email accounts. YEAH, RIGHT.It also said that eBay and yahoo were now... "PARTENERS". I forwarded it to eBay.
