Favorite Small Studio Movie

Post by biggdogg173 »

Okay here's a little something to think about. What is your favorite movie that wasn't a huge movie at the box office or that was not released and promoted by a major studio?A few of my favorites:1. Bottle Rocket (Owen Wilson)-bumbling criminals with dillusions of grandeur. If you liked Rushmore I think this one is funnier. "On the run from Johnny Law ain't no trip to Cleveland."2. American Movie- Chris Smith documentary on two Wisconsin film makers. Sounds like it would be boring but seriously it is pretty funny. 3. Rushmore- (Bill Murray & Jason Schwartzman)-Funny movie about a kid in a private school, actaully gets funnier the more times you see it.

Clerks thats in the top 5. Kevin Smith is a genius, except when it comes to finishing comic book series, but that's a different story.

I can't believe that nobody has mentioned this one yet----Resovoir Dogs--Quintin Tarintino's debut film. It was never meant to be released, I believe the story goes. He made the film as a college film school project. MANY great lines in that one.
