Aux2Car install in 2004 Vibe GT

Post by Salsa2004 »

This is confimation of a sucessful install of the Peripheral Aux2Car in a 2004 Vibe GT with Moon and Tunes. I went to the Aux2Car because I wanted to use the docked MiFi XM radio AND my Creative Zen Micro.Well, I was impatient and got the generic Audio2Car kit at Best Buy. It is the same device as Aux2Car but has cables VXHGM3 (for the Vibe), PXHCH3, and PXHFD3I went to B1 for +12v switch power and A12 for the ground. (Off the large connector on the back of the radio.)Class II dip swich confiruation was used on the Aux2Car (Switches 1, 3, 8 on) No alternator whine and it is switched.Tip: Use the directions here and pull the console and bezels off. Don't try to work around and snake the cords. It is a much easier install ad there is a nice little place behind the gear shift to put the extra wires and Aux2Car box.
