Today's woot... Everybody needs one of these!

Post by ColonelPanic »

Today's woot: Since Woot changes, I'll copy the stuff here for your viewing pleasure. LOL!Quote »Our Precious Wootily FluidsCheck it out! Some bright spark figured out exactly what was missing from your life: warmed-up windshield-wiper fluid! Just zip-tie it to your car’s radiator hose, re-route your wiper fluid with the included tubeage, and wonder why your life is so empty and unsatistfying. Er, we mean, watch the accumulated ice melt away from the windshield. The radiator warms the water, the water warms your windshield. It's, like, engineering, get it?Would it be easier and quicker to just use the defroster? Maybe! Mightn’t this warmed-up liquid crack your frozen windshield? Possibly! (There, now you can’t blame us when it happens.) Is this product even more useful than a USB thumb drive lock? Of course - what isn't? But all these petty questions miss the real point: this is your chance to add one more item to your Worst Woot Ever shelf. There's no better way to tell people, "I buy products based on irony value alone."Or you could use it to warm up your wiper fluid. Whatever.Features: * Easy to install * Helps clean road film and grease * Eliminates washer jet and windshield freezing * Fits most cars * Easily moved from car to car * British designed and manufactured * Yet somehow, made in Hong KongHow to install: * Buy it * Take it out of box and laugh at it * Apologize to it and then go to your car * Place the Hot Jet unit on a straight section of the radiator hose * Secure the unit with the two locking straps * Locate the windshield washer tubing between the reservoir and the washer jet * Splice the Hot Jet tubes into your washer tubing * Avoid running the tubes over the engine, around the axle, in the fan etcLOL! Yeah. Heated washer fluid on the cheap.... heh

It's amazing the absolute crap that comes across that site that people will snatch up instantly. The "Bag Of Crap" theys sell for a buck often sells out in a matter of minutes! This is one of the most bizarre things I've seen come across here...And EDIT too: All of woot's descriptions are like that. I love that site, it's always a laugh.
