does anybody like or listen to the Barenaked Ladies? and how do you like thier newest album "Are Me"?i love it. its thierbest album!

they're a pretty good band.i remember when they played at my high school in a 'battle of the bands' wayyyy back in the day. they lost, btw. i grew up in and around where they're from and my sister knew one of them relatively well as she used to work at the dairy queen where a couple of them would stop by....back when we were all in high school!
I have signatures turned off so I'm not even sure what mine says in this space!

I remember seeing them while they were doing a small club tour of Ontario, because the then mayor of Toronto had banned them from playing there because of their name! That was... oh... 1991?

didn't know they were still around. i used to like a lot of their songs, still like some too. wouldn't buy a CD, but i'll listen to a song or two on the radio.

good band with a great sense of humor!!!I've seen them a couple times, New Years eve and at Ontario Place.Also got to hang out with the bassist at Pearson waiting for a flght, that was cool.But I didn't know about the new album either. I'll have to check it out. THANKS

heard a new song on the radio yesterday..."Peterborough and the Kawarthas" that'll make other ontario-ians out there smile....it wasn't bad...it's on their new album.
