i want to get a sr for my maxx so badly, but there is literally nothing available in the way of performance for it. on ebay, i have seen this http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...QrdZ1it just looks like some generic picture of an itake kit and has no product details really. the guy has good feedback though. i know nothing about ebay, but i know a lot of people here use it all the time. would this be something one should avoid?

I know there's lots of body kits for the regular malibu so there should be something for you. Is your's not the same engine and all? Just different body?Anyway, I feel the same pains. I just bought a new saturn Vue for the wife andof course I want to do a little midification to it. Went to the vue forums and cardomain. Nobody has really done anything with the vue except tint, wheels, interior and stereo systems. The most anyones lowered them was almost 2". Not much out for performance either intake and exhaust is about it. Even the peeps with the redlines are complaining.Good luck on your search! If I see anything I'll let you know.

looks like a "ebay special" kind of like the strut tower brace for $30...the transaction looks safe enough... but not too sure about the quality of the product.If this is all you can find then I'm sure its better then stock. 1st of all, i haven't really found a decent malibu forum yet. lancer, yes i have seen a few body kits here and there, but that's about it, besides the usual headlight covers and vent visors. as far as intakes and pre-made catbacks, they must not be there. the maxx has the same engine as the malibu V6, but i'm not sure if the layout is the same, they are on different platforms. the 4 banger malibus have a few parts available, but that does me no good. (i can't imagine that heavy (removed) car with a 4 cyl.)thanks for the links can-awd! -edit-damn, the malibu v6 parts they have are for the classic, a different v6 than mine!
