Changing pads easy?

Post by mathteacher'04vibe »

I have wrenched on all types of domestic autos & trucks and I hate to say it, but Japanese engineering is far more friendly to mechanics in general maintenance respects. I love changing brake pads on Hondas. Is this job similarly easy on the vibe? Does it have the "captured calipers" similar to the Hondas? Just curious...

The Vibe is pretty straight forward. You shouldn't have any problems.

though off topic, Newton Falls is about 1/2 way between Cleveland and Pittsburgh. Actually, 50 miles southeast of Cleveland. The funny thing is the zip code: 44444. We used to have a billboard that said "In Newton Falls, we do it on all fours!" That came down went politically-correctness came to be.
