Passenger Air bag Cover

Post by Zorren »

Does anyone have trouble with the cover not staying flush with the Dash? I have pushed mine down time and again but when it gets a litte warm it pops up about 2cm. I am thinking about taking it in to have them fix it while its still under warrenty.

I would take it in. That does not sound too safe. I mean for your passengers. It could be an explosive pop out.

I'd take it in too, just for the looks. The cover is hinged so it wont hit the passenger.

definitely can be done under warranty... I've done more for less complaints.I had a guy complain his dash was warped... the vent and the dash were about 2mm off of flush.New dash, and it was better after we were done.Just be (removed)... it works.

Mine was going the other way, it was recessed a bit. Didn't look so good.
