So I needed to get away from everyone and took the SS to the track.

I had to get away from everyone so I went to the dragstrip and instead of just watching, I decided to do a run with the ol' SS. She ran pretty good I think I got a 14.24@95.66. The weight really kills these trucks coming off the line but the top end power is great. I wish there was a road coarse in SW missouri to run at and test out the suspension setup. heh since I am stuck with the truck for a while I decided to do a few cheap mods and liven the LS2 up a bit. 2 pay check got me some headers and exhaust and I think thats all she needs, and all i wanna do to it until Ken Belle makes a kit for the 6.0.

Sweet. thats not a bad run for a truck and your right, the weight really kills your time.

thats a pretty good time for a truck man and like mav. said weight does kill you at the biggining with a little weight reduc... it should be good to go thats an awesome run though

ya, the weight really slows it down, but still.... when i attempted to take on an SS in my modded VGT, it was very sad for me... LOL
