Looking for Head Unit Advice

Post by 2003blackGT »

I have a 2003 Vibe GT with a 6 CD changer (factory) and it is giving me a “Player Error“ when I want to pay a CD or eject. The car is out warranty, so I think I would like to upgrade with an aftermarket Head unit. So I am looking for suggestions on a new head unit and where to buy based on the following criteria:•AM/FM of Course•Multiple CD changer (Prefer 6)•Satellite capable (XM preferred)•Very clean looking install. (for the head unit and the antenna for the satellite)•Possibility to plug an iPod into is icing on the cake•Cost $400 or less•No amps or new speakers required. Thanks

There aren't too many in-dash aftermarket changers. I'd suggest looking through Crutchfield and see what you can find.

I took your advice and looked through Crutchfield and found a head unit, JVC KD-DV6200. Anyone have any experience with a unit like this?Thank you!
