New family Project.

Post by tangerine »

My dad called me up and gave me a heads up and asked if I'm still willing to spend time with him helping build a car with him again and I said he can always count on me. He just landed a new contract and is going for a big project this time. He ordered an Atomic Orange C6 Coupe with the Z51 package. He said when it arrives he wants me to help him swap out to some 4.10 gears and the new APSTT. Expect massive photo's because I'm taking shots of the entire proccess when we build this baby with his camera. He said they located one to his liking in Texas and will be delivering it within the next 2-3 weeks. This is gonna be fun and another great way to spend time with my dad and get my mind off of things.

I can't wait to do it. It's been a while since we have had a family project. I know one thing, I'm not getting behind the wheel of it when its done...he and my uncle are talking way too much power for even my taste. One question I do have, does anyone know if its possible to buy a Dyno machine for a personal shop?

I'm now working on scetches to figure out how we're going to make a removable rollbar setup without completely raping the car. AutoCAD programs work wonders in these situations. They want me to pick a unique color for a paint scheme once the motor is built but I kinda like the orange...reminds me of my Vibe.
