New HU Finally!!

Hey there everyone!!!I finally got a new HU for the Vibe... It is a Pioneer DEH-P980BT. I also got the iPod adapter with it. I can finally leave the ipod hidden away in the car and it sounds GREAT!! I do have a couple of questions though that a search through the forums didn't answer....1. Regarding the illumination.... really, what wire on the harness should you use?? I used B12, which is the "Parking lamp input" according to the pin-out sheet I got here and nothing happens when I turn on the parking/headlights. The other B4 (LCD Backlighting control seemed to be for the dimmer, which on this radio is either on or off, not dim-able. (at least as far as I could tell). I guess I could just take it back out and switch it and see what happens.... any thoughts???Also, I was just wondering if anyone actually knew what the power output is on the factory HU with the Moon and Tunes.. I know the Moon and Tunes amp is 200W, but I was just wondering what the output is of the stock HU. I just want to make sure I do not over-drive the amp and kill it over time. So far, I am really impressed with this HU. I haven't even tried the bluetooth functions yet to see how they work. Maybe tomorrow.... :-)Oh yeah... and I should take some pics to post on here tomorrow too....

we like pictures i am looking to do a pioneer unit soon...just so that i can hard wire my xm radio into it...instead of using the built in fm modulator, cuz it SUCKS, and sounds horrible...congrats on the new HU

BTW..... I the dimming does actually work once I enabled the display dimming on the HU... So much for being enabled by default. I am however still curious if any one knows what the actual power output is on the stock single CD HU though....Any one???
