New Driveway

Didn't know where to put this - it is related to the Vibe but sort of indirectly. Driveway torn up so the Vibe and T&C both on the street where they can be hit by whatever going by. T&C already has a scratch along the side from a bike handlebar I am sure. Soon will have a new 5 inch deep expanded concrete driveway with plenty of space. Only $675 more to go from 4" to 5". Could almost buy a new Vibe for what that is costing. Hard to tell exactly what it cost as it is part of a major outdoor landscaping project. Need to delay my retirement by one more year - but then my first wife will have something else she wants done. [However concrete vs. blacktop was at my insistence.]

Could you just park in the grass until the driveway is done? The grass will grow back, and it would prevent any further damage to your cars.
