Shhh. Do not tell MotorTrend of this. They might change there comments from "it squeaked awfully, but it is a Toyota so yours will not".MotorTrend had a Honda minivan that was at the dealer for 31 consectutive days to have the power sliding door fixed. They responded, if you are having trouble, get it to the dealer soon.If it was a GM van, it would have been "Ever since 1997 when GM put power sliding doors on vans, they never got it right."
I did not see the quality issue of the new 268hp. V6 in the new Camry and Lexus. The trannys are having major issues. Some are just finding false neutrals while shifting. Just not engaaging the next gear. Some have had their trannys replaced multiple times. Just goes to show ...first year for a new engine/tranny. Also, I have met a few 4cyl. Camry owners who hate the drive -by - wire design. They say their foot is not connected to the engine at times, hesitation, etc. DBW has yet to be perfected by Toyota.
