Does anyone have a problem with their stock CD player skipping? It always seems to happen about halfway through the disc. Scratching on the cd's are minimal. Is this just a touchy unit or do I need a replacement?

The radio is definitely a weak part here, you're not the first to have that problem! Had the same issue myself with my first radio. Is this with store-bought or burned CD's?

Panic, It does it on both. I'm going to burn myself a new cd and get one of my newer ones and play them both in the player and I will report the results in a day or so

I still havent gotten around to it to find out if a clean new cd will skip...i'll do it today for sure.***update*** I made a new cd last night and I'm playing it in the car now. So far, so good. If it's just picky I can live with that. I usually only use copies of cd in the car anyway so I can just burn a new one as needed.
