Scratch protection

Post by JohnG2095 »

I kayak a lot, and often have boats on my roof, often many boats. It is also often necessary to open the hatch with the boats on the roof. When you open the hatch it hits the boats, only in one spot, but it scratches the hatch in that spot. Does anyone know of any sort of durable plastic tape or some sort of something that I could cover that area with to prevent it from scratching further? Thanks

You should be able to find some 3M clear tape that is used to protect the front of vehicles.

I concur, 3m clear bra stuff would be great for protecting it.
