Sorry to hear about your TC wheels. That sucks!I like the new wheels better with how your car is now. It helps bring it all together with the black and silver theme

Thanks guys.... i loved the look of the TCs, but everyone says these looks better (except Jason ) I like them too.Ill have more pics in my garage after this weekend... LA BBQ. many cars and pics from that meet.It just bites that i damaged a clean rim so now im stuck with a bent rim, 1 good 2 good rims and a scuffed rim.Im gonna hold on to them till i can get another one.. then might just put them on my fiances vibe. The rims hurt me a lot, so no mods for a while... the pillar guages are now on hold

yeah... the pillar guages were a long project... adn the money i just spent on the rims was partially goin to the tint for both vibes... but now i cant. I think like 4-5 cars hit that stupid tree branch!!! its now SAFELY on the side of the freeway... I was goin like 50 MPH just to make sure i didnt hit it again.

its hard to get a good balance out of a straightened alloy rim... plus its integrity has been compromised.

Oh yeah I know. the machine we got here at the shop can balance the tires and if your putting on stick on weights, even locate them so they hide behind the spokes. It also determines tire pull and rim run out and tells you were to put that rim on the vehicle to get the best results. Just to name a few things it can do.but I'd still never put a straightened rim on my car.

I would put a staightened rim on my car since one like this is only bent but not a cracked and then repaired rim... Sure beats a $500 bill for all new. This bend is not that bad. I'm getting two rims straightened up at New England Wheel and Wheelcover today. It is $75 per wheel, $10 mount/balance. There is also same day service during the week. I'll let you all know how it all straightens out.website: http://www.neww.com Roger

And Mrizzle05 beware... You may have sidewall damage on that tire. Anything hard enough to bend a rim most likely damaged the side wall. Once you replace or straighten the rim you may notice a shake in the steering wheel due to the tire sidewall.

Well lets hope no tires are needed! Get the rim addressed and then check the alignment. If you still have issues then you may need one new tire.

Well if what you hit damaged the rim and damaged the tire then there is a very good chance the alignment was effected as well. All that could be contributing to the shake your experiencing.

yeah thats what im thinking... cuz the tire "looked" fine and i would assume the tire shop looked at it just in case. but i prolly need to get the alignment redone... *curses to himself* all cuz someone had to hit the branch inot MY lane!!! (removed)! Thanks guys for all your help and input... i love GVC
