I have a 2003 vibe I purchased in Jan. It's my wife's car so I don't drive it a lot. Sometimes it pulls to the left quite a bit. At first I thought it was the road, but after going for 2 hr trip over the weekend I realized I had a problem. It did it for most of the trip until I stopped for gas then it was fine. I don't think it's the alignment or tires because like I said it comes and goes.Has anyone else had this problem or might know what's causing it?Thanks
the vibe catches wind quite a bit more than many cars i've driven (owned/rented).Were you driving for 2 hours in the same general direction? It was windy this weekend with that storm coming through...Filling with gas won't cause it to 'get better'.... Welcome to the site! Another Canadian member.
I have signatures turned off so I'm not even sure what mine says in this space!
sounds like a power steering pump problem to me. is the power steering reservoir full?does the pump make noise when you turn the wheel?when it pulls, pull over to the side of the road and see if the pump is pumping fluid when you turn the wheel, remove the pump cap and turn the wheel one way then another and see if the fluid is moving.
