I was wondering if anyone else experiences this minor issue or if it's just mine:I noticed that my Vibe shakes a bit when accelerating in 2nd gear between 2000-3000 RPM. I don't notice this shaking in any other gear (it's a 5spd manual btw).So I tried slowly revving the engine up while stopped in neutral, and sure enough when I get above 2000 RPM, the engine begins to shake ever so slightly. The shaking stops at about 3000 RPM and it's silky smooth everywhere else (except at idle, but that's with most of them).I'm not sure why I don't notice the shaking in any other gear except 2nd, but it definatley seems to be coming from the engine.Any other people here with the same thing? Thanks
I checked today, and didn't notice any when moving, but parked in neutral, I pick up a small vibration at about 2K, and it doesn't disappear at 3K, but gets faster and less noticeable. Not worried about it in mine though, seems like normal engine vibration to me. Can't say whether yours is enough to be worried about though
I thought my 03 GT is the only one with this problem. I would call it shudders rather then vibration when in 2nd or 3rd gear. I also notice slight surges when try to accelerate slightly harder when in higher gear around 4-5k rpm. Went to 3 GM dealers none can figure out the problem. They were unwilling to ask GM tech service for help. One of them even told me to live with the vibration. My grip:Not happy with with GM service. Thinking to go to Toyota dealer for help.

I notice a bump or a slight kick around 3800 rpm then a few other steps above that.I also notice a slip of sorts around the 3000 rpm mark but only in 3rd. well, I noticed it this summer when I had the AC on. Turn it off and I don't notice it.As for the vibrations. I too notice a decent amount of vibration in the 2500-3500 rpm range and it seems to go away above that but it's just more than likely going faster so I don't notice it. This is a vibration I didn't notice when I first got my GT but did start noticing it last Summer. I'm just going to pay close attention to it and if it gets worse, have it checked. If it doesn't get worse, it's very likely that I just dind't pay as close attention to it before last Summer. BTW, mine is not so noticable while moving, only idling.Dave
