Wings

Post by theangrydwarf1 »

I would like to find a wing for my vibe and I wanted to see what others have purchased. I'm not interested in the OEM spoilers from GM, I'm looking for something more "ricer". I see that most dont like that look, but I do. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks

try the cobalt SS spoiler, it's got that rice look to it.

everything other than the GM ones have to be custom made, but like drunken said freestyle made a cobalt spoiler work (i think he sold it to someone on here, tho). Hatchbacks aren't really made for ricer spoilers, imo, but hey if you want it go for it.

I don't think the wings would look too bad as long as the stands are really short. Just gotta remember the roof rack (so you can open the hatch). So the wing can't be very wide. If you swoop it back a little it should work.

hey...drunken mentioned the cobalt SS spoiler but I have been looking at the more stock looking Cobalt spoilers from spoilerdepot.com. The posts and mounting bolts seem to fit in the spaces where the OEM Vibe spoiler would. I think they would look good, I just have to commit to the purchase.Since I don't have the roof-rack, I don't have to worry about that but the width of the spoiler is 47", which makes it hang over a bit more than I'd want. Had looked at several Focus ZX spoilers as well, though there would have to be some resizing for them to work.Dave
