There's no need to go with a "puck" type clutch with these cars. They're not very slippable and in some cases, are prone to breaking. Puck type clutches are meant for racing, and are simply harder to drive due to very little slippability. I know Jahntassa has one, and swears by it, but the overall concensus is to go with the "street" organic disks.Your best best is to go with a stage 2 type clutch from Gripforce (check eBay) RPS, Exedy, or ACT. Many Matrix and Celica owners (
www.newcelica.org) swear by Gripforce's clutches. I'll be dropping in an RPS + MWR flywheel Monday morning; and will let you know how it compares to my fading OEM clutch. Oh, I have ~60k miles on the odo too. EDIT: Hey, I just noticed you're from L.A. -- welcome!
