Read the fine print - *On 2006 model year vehicles only. See participating dealer for details. Customer responsible for all taxes, 5% MSRP restocking fee, $.50 per mile driven, and all financing and insurance charges. Retail sales only when financed through Chrysler Financial. One return per customer. Vehicle must be returned to selling dealer in good condition within 30 days. Trade-ins are not eligible. So - a $20,000 car driven 1,000 miles in 30 days will cost you the following to return. (1) 1,000 miles x 50 cents = $500; (2) The sales tax, e.g. 7% x $20,000 = $1,400; (3) 5% restocking = $1,000. That is $2,900 for 30 days. And - it appears that car must be bought without trade-in. The Saturn 30 day return option is much better. My son returned a Saturn Vue a couple years ago that had a transmission problem before 30 days. They were going to "fix it". He said - no, I want to return this and get a replacement. He got a replacement.

Saturn's does sound better, from what little I do know of it.Chrysler's policy sounds like a bad deal all the way around. This only seems good for places with low sales tax and for people who just buy the car to put in the garage who probably don't put more than 10K on it a year. They definitely don't want people like me participating in these programs, I've just now sent in my second payment but I'm almost ready to hit 5,000 miles. Then again, good grief, I'd be paying dearly for using that program if I had a Chrysler!

Yea when I heard about that I wasnt too sure it was a good selling point and Im sure they are going to make a lot of money off of people who dont think. You are better off renting a car for 30 days than doing that crap
