You mean to tell me that a whatever the hell HP Subaru, 200-something, I dunno because I don't have the specs handy will stomp a 138 HP Elantra? Get out! What's next, you're going to tell me that they'll stomp my puny lil' 110 HP Accent? Yeah, probably. But I will win one race if we ever race for it: The race to see who can go the longest on a gallon of gas. I'll smoke your damn Subaru there, buddy! I guess we owners of crappy Hyundais, stock or not, and every other car for that matter must bow down to the mighty Subaru, for its greatness can not be matched. Subaru, Subaru, Subaru!

if i wanted better fuel economy, i'd get a prius or ride a bicylce! (removed)! AWD with decent fuel economy and 2.5L TURBO makes me so happy! i will say, the Hyundai Tiburon is still one sexy car for the $$$. i had contemplated one before i bought the vibe GT. tons of a/m support and parts for it, as well as some kick (removed) body kits. a nicely done Tiburon, though not an STI, is still pretty damn sweet IMO.

I agree, for a $15,000 car that Tib is a nice car. I can't wait till they relese the new Tib they are working on. Supposed to be a RWD tib with the new v6

That poor XD! I know that god awful spoiler adds about 250 horsepower and all, based on my calculations from seeing what it does on those Subarus, but geez folks! That hood scoop looks a lot like one I saw the other day on this horribly riced all to hell Vibe! I'm sure it was "fully functional." (yeah, sure!)At any rate, if you're going to do something like that, it needs to be done RIGHT. Seeing how Subarus rock and stuff I figured I would try to make mine end up like one... I sawed through my hood for the hood scoop thing and turbo'ed my MC and put on the TMIC thingamabob for more HP and TQ so now my Alpha II is really churnin' out some power. I wind it up and make that CVVT do whatever it does and I can do 0-60 in about, um, well it'll do 60 - and still getting 36 MPG in the process. The wheels were painted gold to allow for more stable handling, and a spoiler was added to boost the engine output a bit more. And hey, I can use acronyms with Hyundai stuff too! And then later I decided to give my MC the STI WRC Stage Eleventeen package. That added another 110 HP, easily. I have the dyno sheets to prove it. I can't talk about the hardware involved that made that happen, it is a secret. Discussion is forbidden against the policies set forth by NASHRC, or North American Subaru Hyundai Ricer Coalition. I will say it is not bad, I started with 110 HP so at least doubling the total HP with simple cheap bolt-on and stick-on crap is a good thing. And all the extra power from the former upgrades, I'm pushing like 300 HP now, and more mods planned!Totally! Later on, IF I can stomach it, I may go ahead and add the spoiler as seen above for it does provide pure, raw performance potential - but damn, it just gives me the creeps. But what can you do, 250 HP is 250 HP! My Hyundai is totally *****in', once this one is paid for I'll be putting plans together for my 1,000 HP NF. I never knew high performance could be so easy!

wow colonel, i think i just SMP. i think we should make you the HNIC (lean on me).so, with all that WHP and BHP and being down with OPP what 1/4 times are you running? if you can't prove it, it's ok, just use some calculations you found on the internet, they should be accurate enough.
