Wow, right there he just proved how mature and how much of a real man he is. More of a man than me, that's for sure!Think before you show off, you never know when you'll end up making yourself look like a total jacknad.

Well, he's definitely made a name for himself with that group!Granted it's probably something like 'skidmark', but hey..

Yeah major ouch!! I always say you can beat on your stuff to a point and if the vehicle is maintained very well it can take more. In this case the car sounds really new but just not built for that abuse!

I've seen pics of that happening before to an SRT4. It happens when either they pump the clutch while burning out or the clutch just slips so much that the plate overheats til it warps and shatters at 6k rpm. Those pics were amazing though. All the hoses, firewall, tranny, radiator, etc were full of holes and torn to bits. It looked like a grenade went off in the engine bay.
At first, I was kinda thinking the guy was making this up. It just sounded too crazy. But.......Then he showed the pics and the damage was staggering! Wow!!!!!! I feel sorry for the kid. I wonder what he had to tell his folks about what he did to the car that they probably bought him.
Just saw the pics too now! WOW!!! One new bill he has now! Plus the car note! I am sure Dodger dealers have seen that before and rear end explosions from the DR SRT10 Viper engine Trucks! And if my kid did that I would not be mad just tell him he paid the price for tearing up his stuff and lucky no one was hurt or that the car caught fire... Hard lesson to learn but effective.

ALOT of people are having major problems when doing burnouts in tose SRT-4's. There are a few threads floating around of peope shattering the preasure plates going straight through the motor and blowing a hole in the hood from the SRT forums. These kids don't know when enough is enough.

wow, that really sucks! I couldn't even imagine trying to explain something like that to insurance or to my parents. lol.Quote, originally posted by trdvibe »no, i'd say more like MORON. lolI second that vote. lol
HA HA!!! I would not want to be in that kids situation when his Dad sees him come home in a taxi. If it was me and my family, the next car I would be driving would be a 87 Ford Festiva, if I even got another one. At least it will be a good learning experience for him, he probably just gained about 5 years of maturity in that one night.
