speed limiter/govenor on the 1zz
I have the base 5spd vibe. ...and have found that not only does the rev limiter shut you down at 6500rpm's, but that you get shut down at 115mph!. Now I donot get this, as it will happen in either 4th or 5th gear, because the gt's don't do this. I have seen posts all the way up to 140mph from gt owners. I am so jealous. But I can tell you this though, even w/o the speed limiter , a stock 1zz will not get over 125mph in our cars, but when the SC's come out , we will all be whining! so.... how does one fix this? Is ther a chip in the make? or a trick to be knowned?? any answers to my inquiry is much apreciated
